According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will finally bring an Always-On Display (AOD) feature to some of this year’s iPhone 14 lineup. AOD has long been available on many Android devices and Apple was supposed to introduce the feature last year with the iPhone 13 Pro as the phone used an LTPO display but the feature was apparently scrapped before the launch. Having an LTPO panel is essential to deliver AOD without consuming too much power although Apple’s current ProMotion technology has a range of between 10Hz to 120Hz....

The Langkawi pilot project which will be launched on 15 November, will allow fully vaccinated international tourists from all countries to visit the island without having to go through a quarantine period. The bubble only allows foreign visitors to travel to Langkawi by booking a trip through a travel agent, who will be held responsible for any SOP non-compliance. The conditions for the international tourist bubble are quite strict. For starters, the stay would have to be a minimum of three days while the travellers need to take RT-PCR tests before their departure date to Langkawi as well as on their second day at the island, and another test on the fifth day if the trip is over five days....

The source of the rumours originates from one of the industry’s most prominent leakster, kopite7kime (@kopite7kimi). According to them, NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace will reportedly be coming out a little earlier than expected, while also saying that the GPU maker is indeed sticking to its guns of switching from Samsung to TSMC’s N5 process.
